Insurance coverage varies from state to state. Contact your insurance provider to learn what kind of care is covered. Here are a few questions to ask:
- Will my plan cover acupuncture?
- How many visits per calendar year?
- Is my condition covered?
- Can I see any practitioner I want or do I have to see someone in the insurance network?
- Do I need a referral?
- Do I have a co-pay?
- Do I have a deductible?
- If yes, has it been met?
Although we do not bill insurance directly, we are happy to provide you with a receipt for your services that includes your diagnostic and procedural codes. You can submit these receipts to your insurance company for reimbursement.
If you have a FLEX plan check to see if your acupuncture care will be covered.
HSA plans (high deductible plans) typically allow you to use acupuncture treatments toward your deductible. Again check with your plan.
